Developed creative solutions through cross-training methods that are essential for innovation. To USHER in this point of view, I produced a range of design resources to put Super Bowl coverage in tune.
A win happens with a few key takeaways — not replaying every play. With that in mind, I produced essential materials that kicked off and wrapped up the Super Bowl news coverage — featuring numerous orchestrated design themes for both the event and the week prior to the game. This method echoed the entire design strategy I developed in the lead-up to the Super Bowl.
Creative Direction & Design Branding Points
Love knows patterns by heart — the patterns his wide receivers are running. That's how plays are made. When you magnify the strategy in the design work (regular season and post-season), I focused on distinct patterns with each team to advance the design — similar to the musical patterns found in chord progressions, where chords are played in a sequence.
It’s fulfilling when you do what you LOVE. The upcoming series will highlight a less enjoyable aspect for certain designers, as it engages different regions of the brain — focusing on analysis rather than creativity. It’s similar to an athlete studying plays or reviewing games — in contrast to tapping into their natural skills on the field.
