Highlight Tape Watercolor
Creating artwork using isolated NFL player images, blended into a new visual narrative enhanced by a multi-layered depth of field featuring diverse textures, resembles the techniques and principles found in watercolor painting.
My watercolor skills evolved during college by blending ink wash and charcoal. Football continued throughout college, with many great moments and memories… and two reconstructive surgeries that included an open shoulder procedure. It’d be a fantasy to think of the NFL as the evolution after college ball, but I am the commish and 2024 CHAMP of my fantasy football league, made up of my college friends who were all teammates!
